I have always loved to doodle and draw. I came into pottery in 2012, thanks to my mother-in-law (Pottery by Kathy), who taught me that I could draw on clay. Since then, I have experimented with many textures, glazes and forms and have sent my work around the world.

I love everyday objects to be beautiful. If you have to look at something all the time, it should make you smile! I have always loved both the simplicity of Scandinavian design and the intricate patterns of Indian and Islamic art; my work is a reflection of these two very different styles. It is also heavily influenced by my stunning surroundings – the mountains and the sea near my little studio in my back garden in the beautiful village of Delgany, Co. Wicklow.
